For those who saw their kids I hope you had a great day with them and spend the day looking for Easter Eggs and baskets! I hope you just enjoyed the time you have with them in general. For any parents who didn't have them I hope you reached out and wished them a happy Easter. This year we actually didn't have Quinn but that isn't going to stop us from getting out and enjoying the day. It is how it goes and we have to move on. We called her in the afternoon and she was so excited to hear from us! We asked how her day was and what she found. After she told us in her excited voice we told her we think we have saw some stuff around the house for her! She got even more excited!
In the end that is really what it's all about. Just letting them know you are thinking of them if you can't be there. You show them how much you care and to be excited for when they come over they can still celebrate with you! We talked for a bit and then told her to have a great vacation and that we would see her soon. You could tell by her voice shew was so excited and that really is all we need to do if it isn't your day with our kids! Just call at least and let them know you are thinking about them and that the next time you see them you will have so much to do!
So I do hope everyone did spend time with their loved ones and for those who didn't have kids this day I hope you reached out and said hello and that you were thinking of them! As the Spring finally starts moving along I can't wait to get outside!
